
Welcome to Fremont Neighbor Note, our Friday series highlighting what’s happening in and around our neighborhood.
December 6: Fremont Holiday Flurry – VAM Studios presents the first annual Fremont Holiday Flurry on Saturday, Dec. 6, beginning at 5:15 p.m. with a flash mob by Silver Line Social Dancers at the Lenin statue. The evening continues with a Snowman Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. led by Pete Adelman with caroling by Kyleigh Taylor and Friends from Dusty Strings, followed by a parade at 5:45 p.m. to N. 36th Street and Evanston Avenue North for an outdoor dance performance by VAM Studio’s Suitcase Dance Theater. This event is supported by the Fremont Arts Council. Attendees are encouraged to wear snowflakes, sparkles and winter-themed costumes for this neighborhood celebration.
