The Fremont Neighborhood Council holds its Annual General Meeting tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Doric Lodge, and this one comes with a full agenda.
Seattle City Councilmember Dan Strauss, who represents District 6, will be the evening’s special guest and he’ll be updating the community on the Comprehensive Plan. After that, the council moves into its annual business: board elections and a vote on several proposed changes to the FNC bylaws.
The board’s business meeting runs from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m. and is open to all. The official meeting kicks off at 7 p.m. with a meet-your-neighbor icebreaker before Strauss takes the floor. Community announcements and mingling wrap things up by 8:45 p.m.
FNC members can vote on the bylaw changes and board elections. Not a member yet? It’s a good night to show up and see what the council is all about.
