Here’s some good stuff happening in the neighborhood:
July 22: Trans/Nonbinary Craft Evening
Sabina is hosting a crafting night for trans and nonbinary folks at Ophelia’s Books, 3504 Fremont Ave N. Bring your own project or make repurposed book-page envelopes — supplies provided (small donation for materials requested). Cis friends and family welcome too. All 15 and older. 7-8:30 p.m. Note: the gathering is downstairs, so stairs are required.
July 25: Catherine’s Craft Circle
Catherine’s Craft Circle returns Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. in the meeting room at the Fremont Library. Bring a project you’ve been working on or use supplies on hand: junk journaling, mail art, watercolors, beads for friendship bracelets. All skill levels welcome. RSVP via Partiful.
July 25: Dayton Block Party
The 5th annual Dayton Avenue Block Party runs Saturday from 3-8 p.m. on Dayton Ave N between 43rd and 44th, presented by Upper Fremont Neighbors. Grilling, yard games, good company — and yes, pups are welcome. Optional RSVP here.
