Woodland Park Cooperative School, located at the Fremont Baptist Church, is hosting a free community swap event on April 5 where neighbors can bring what they have and take what they need.
This family-friendly gathering will feature games, puzzles, toys, clothing, and children’s books, all at no cost. “It’s basically scaling up a free little library,” organizers explain.
The event welcomes everyone to drop by, shop, play on the school’s unique “junkyard” playground, and connect with local families. Students will operate a bake sale and coffee stand with optional donations supporting the school’s scholarship program.
Woodland Park Co-op offers play-based education where children spend half their day outdoors creating, exploring, and building with natural materials. The school is currently enrolling for 2025-26 multiage preschool classes (ages 2-4) and their Alternative Kindergarten program (age 5+).More event details are available on their website and Facebook.
