Rain didn’t stop Fremont from celebrating our favorite bridge-dwelling troll Friday night. The Fremont Troll turned 35 and hundreds of costumed revelers showed up to party under the Aurora Bridge.
The Fremont Art Council’s annual Trolloween kicked off at 7 p.m. with live music and the Troll dramatically lit up in turquoise.
Despite the wet weather, the turnout was impressive and the costumes were on point. From elaborate getups to last-minute creativity, Fremonsters brought their A-game.
Happy 35th birthday to the Troll and here’s to 35 more years of crushing Volkswagens and bringing the neighborhood together.
