December 12: Argosy Christmas Ship Parade of Boats – The 10th Annual Parade of Boats returns Friday, Dec. 12 (TONIGHT!), from 8 to 9:30 p.m., as brightly decorated vessels convene in Lake Union and promenade westward through the Fremont Cut, led by the Argosy Cruises Christmas Ship adorned with hundreds of sparkling lights and featuring an onboard choir singing carols. While sailing tickets are sold out, spectators can catch panoramic views of the shimmery flotilla at the official onshore viewing party at Evanston Plaza, with performances running from 8:20 to 9:10 p.m. This Pacific Northwest tradition offers Fremont residents a front-row seat to one of Seattle’s most magical holiday events as decorated boats light up the waterway with festive cheer.
