November 15: Ross Park Emergency Hub Open House – The Ross Park Emergency Hub hosts a drop-in open house Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ross Park Shelter to demonstrate how neighbors help neighbors during major disasters. The volunteer-run hub serves as “Information Central” when city services are stretched thin, providing a gathering place to share critical information, coordinate resources and solve problems together. Attendees can enjoy free coffee and Top Pot donuts, learn simple ways to get “Tech Ready” for emergencies, meet neighbors and discover how the hub works, with activities for kids and no commitment required.
