September 10: A Socratic Conversation at Ophelia’s Books – A Socratic conversation exploring philosophical questions about how to live and what we can know will take place Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Ophelia’s Books. The September discussion, facilitated by Fremont resident, Allison, will center on an Alan Watts quote about permanence and lifelessness, encouraging participants to engage with curiosity rather than judgment. Space is limited and RSVPs are required for the community dialogue that emphasizes personal experience sharing and respectful conversation. (Editor’s note: I went last month and it’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with community members and share!)
