Our neighborhood’s iconic Fremont Sunday Market has expanded its community presence with the recent opening of Sundays Coffee Shop at 462 North 34th Street.
“It’s our cozy little coffee shop, inspired by the spirit of the market and built for those weekend vibes,” according to a Fremont Sunday Market Facebook post. “Our walls tell the story of the past 35 years—celebrating the faces, history, and community that made the Fremont Sunday Market what it is today.”
Located steps away from the weekend market, this pet-friendly café serves Caffè Vita coffee alongside pastries from Macrina Bakery, two Seattle companies that, as the Facebook post notes, “also got their start in the early ’90s,” just like the market.
Visitors can also pick up market totes for $20, with alcoholic beverages coming soon to the Sundays Coffee Shop menu.
