After years of construction and neighborhood anticipation, Marmalade Fremont has become upper Fremont’s sweetest gathering spot. The family-friendly shop at 4128 Fremont Ave North, near B.F. Day Playfield, has quickly won over locals with its artisanal gelato, spacious patio and welcoming atmosphere.
The shop brings traditional Italian gelato-making methods to life with a modern twist. Each day, staff craft small batches of gelato, ice cream and sorbets using the finest ingredients and unexpected flavor combinations. The surprise toppings are fun too!
Since opening earlier this year, the shop has become a natural magnet for the community. On any given day with good weather, you’ll find young and old alike drawn to the large outdoor patio. The location’s easy access from numerous nearby restaurants makes it a perfect dessert destination after dinner.
The shop recently expanded its offerings July 4, adding fresh crepes to complement their frozen treats.
A neighborhood father-child duo plans to contribute more details about Marmalade in an upcoming article.
