
A new mural has appeared on a retaining wall at the Ballroom block construction site: “Long Live Fremont” in pink and green, with the names of the block’s former businesses listed below, including Ladro, Ballroom, Norm’s, Roxy’s and Back Door. It’s the second impromptu tribute to appear at the site since demolition began earlier this month.

Wow, this is so great: the message, the art, the skill! I’ll check it out as the Seattle Scooper Sonics head out for garbage pick up this morning. I wonder, who’s the artist? Whoever it is should be recruited for more art contributions! Really great….
