The planned water main shutoff and street closures in Fremont that were scheduled for May 17 have been canceled. According to the Seattle Department of Transportation, crews discovered an issue with existing trolley tracks beneath the pavement at the intersection of North 34th Street and Fremont Avenue North that requires additional work before proceeding. Dordlofva Café soft opens, serving from sidewalk window
A reader reported that Dordlofva Café at 3500 Fremont Avenue North had a soft opening May 9 and is serving from a sidewalk-facing window. For the next three weeks, they will serve drinks and pastries. There are plans to serve alcoholic drinks and ice cream in the future. More details to come!
