The Fremont Sunday Market opened today with a bang: two additional blocks of market vendors. The expansion starts at Phinney Ave and stretches two blocks west on Canal Street. The market is celebrating its 36th year of bringing artists, food vendors, and treasures to the Center of the Universe.

Historic B.F. Day Elementary windows to get upgraded
Last week boom lifts were spotted at B.F. Day Elementary and it prompted the question, “What’s happening at the school?” Turns out, contractors are preparing to replace over 200 windows that were installed in 1892, 1901, and 1916.
