Fremont Baptist Church is welcoming the neighborhood to its Easter Sunday service on April 5. Pastor Jeffrey Barker will lead the service beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by refreshments and fellowship in the lounge. All are welcome at 717 N 36th St.
The celebration comes on the heels of good news from the church’s Outreach Committee: 80 Easter Goodie Bags stuffed with treats and small toys have been delivered to Solid Ground and the Union Gospel Mission Women and Children’s Shelter, bringing a little springtime joy to kids and families coming out of homelessness.
