June 26: Fremont Fridays
Seattle’s #1 free independent weekly music/arts series returns this Friday to six different Fremont venues! The Fremont Social and George & Dragon will include all ages shows! Check out schedules and event locations on their Instagram page.
June 27: Community Free Giving Day
All Buy Nothing Wallingford groups, the upper Fremont group, the Phinney Ridge group, the Greenlake SE group as well as Fremont Freecycle are participating in a Community Free Giving Day Saturday. Goods being gifted will be on curbs, so beware if you’re moving! Households planning to give are listed on this map.
June 27: Ross Park Cleanup
A group of volunteers have been working this Spring on Ross Park’s western slope to ready it for tree planting in the fall. (It was previously overtaken by blackberries.) Come out Saturday at 9:30 a.m. to help put mulch down on the slope.
