More than 200 people turned out last Thursday, July 30 for the second annual Fremont on the Rocks, the Fremont Chamber of Commerce’s cocktail walk through the neighborhood’s core. Ten local businesses hosted tasting stations, with drinks supplied by area bars and poured by Fremont Neighborhood Council and Chamber volunteers. Turnout jumped from about 70 last year, said Pete Hanning, the Chamber’s executive director. The event was Hanning’s last in that role.
