B.F. Day Elementary’s annual Move-a-Thon returns Friday, May 8, and organizers are looking for local businesses to help support the event.
The tradition invites every Sun Dragon to run, walk or dance their way around the course while raising funds for school programs. Students collectively completed about 7,750 laps last year.
“The Move-a-Thon is a day of joyous community, fun, and support,” said Cheryl Hlavac, a longtime event organizer and parent of a Sun Dragon.
